Dr. Timothy Cook has had extensive personal and professional experience with Catholic schools throughout his life as a student, social studies teacher, principal, and school board member. Currently, Tim is Associate Professor of Education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Creighton has been Nebraska’s Catholic Jesuit university since 1878. Tim teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in secondary teaching methods, foundations of Catholic education, school law, and school organization and leadership. Tim’s research interests include Catholic school culture and identity and religion teacher preparation. He is the author of Architects of Catholic Culture: Designing & Building Catholic Culture in Catholic Schools. Since his book’s publication, Tim has become recognized as an expert on Catholic school identity and culture issues stateside and abroad. Tim is very involved in Catholic education at the national level. Most recently he served a 3-year term as president of the Association of Catholic Leadership Programs (ACLP) in the United States.
